The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club – RPAYC is a yacht racing and sailing club based on the Pittwater in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
“The Alfreds”, as it’s known by locals and members, has a long and colourful history and is one of Australia’s oldest and most prestigious yacht clubs. In August 1911, the Club was given permission by King George V to use the prefix “Royal”. The Club is currently home to the Admiral’s Cup, one of yachting’s most sought after trophies.
The Club offers members and guests one of the finest facilities in Australia; with state-of-the-art floating marina accommodating up to 352 vessels, a gymnasium, multi-level secure parking, fine dining restaurant, casual waterfront bistro and first-class function facilities accommodating up to 200 guests seated.
