Q. What experience do I need to own a Redclean business?
A. Franchising isn’t for everyone. So we have extensive recruitment criteria, however Cleaning isn’t rocket science! The practical application will be taught in our initial training programme. You are taught all the practical applications required to perform your job to a professional standard. The business experience isn’t needed although it would be advantageous. You are taught all the business development skills within the Redclean system as well as affiliations to ATO advice and accounting/book keeping requirements.Also like any business sales in a major importance to the growth of your business. Sales experience isn’t required although like the business ownership skills it is advantageous. You are taught the sales skill that is required for the growth of the business.Although what you do need, is the right attitude and character to work within a franchise system and learn new skills.
Q. How long has the company been operating?
A. Redclean started operations in early 2007 after developing the franchise model with help from DC Strategy and Deacons Lawyers whom are arguably Australia’s leading franchise development consulting company and franchising Law firm. Redclean draws on over 12 years of experience in the cleaning industry under the Superclean Pty Ltd name.
Q. What is involved in the initial training?
A. The Redclean initial training programme and ongoing involves three main areas for the continued development of your business to succeed.
- Business Development – Redclean Policy and Procedures, Admin, Accounting (MYOB), Business Plan, Budgeting, Goals Setting and Marketing.
- Practical Service training – Complete Redclean services training, all relevant equipment operations, OH&S compliance training and access to web based OH&S system.
- Sales Based Training – In partnership with The National Sales Academy, complete sales based training programme that will deliver all the skills necessary in sales to grow your business organically.
Q. What level of support do I get from Redclean?
A. At Redclean we pride ourselves on the level of support offered to our franchisees, from weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual meetings. There is also a buddy system within the support network and purposely designed tracking support system to support all franchisee.
Q. Am I able to have a partner in the business?
A. Yes, there are business models that will support partnerships as well as sole traders.
Q. What is my initial investment?
A. Franchises vary in price starting from $18,500 + Gst +Equipment + training.
Q. What are my ongoing fees?
A. For the Domestic franchise model there is a ongoing flat fee and with the Commercial and Construction franchise model the is a sliding scaled ongoing Royalty, admin and marketing fee depending on the level of income and extra admin required.
Q. How soon can I start my business?
A. The answer really depends on the individual. You can start training as soon as you have completed successfully the recruitment process and you have met the recruitment criteria. Minimum three weeks, maximum can depend on finance.
Q. Can I own multiple services at any one time?
A. Yes you can
Q. What type of cleaning products does Redclean use?
A. Redclean core chemical based products are environmentally friendly and Fully Bio- degradable. They are all citrus based solutions.
Q. What insurances do I need and what does it cost?
A. Insurances are part of the recruitment criteria and Redclean has shopped around and sought the best possible deal available for potential franchisees that will need full coverage.
Q. Can I purchase existing cleaning contracts from Redclean?
A. Yes you can. We have commercial contracts available in the Sydney Metropolotian area and there is a one off fee that applies.
